Olantha L. Scott

Olantha L. Scott has a passion for helping others. She has a strong belief in securing quality services and support for all those that require these services. As a parent of a daughter with an intellectual disAbility Down Syndrome, Moya Moya and several other complex medical needs. She knows first hand the challenges that families face in caring for their loved one.

Her education and experience as an entrepreneur, her knowledge of aging and disability issues inspired her to establish a home and community-based agency that provided high-quality services for adults, children, and seniors living at home.

Ms. Scott is a true advocate with a servant’s heart. She has for the past 20 plus years served and continues to serve in multiple leadership roles on the board of directors for different organizations directly impacting the lives of seniors and people with disabilities.

She is a graduate of Louisiana‘s Partners and Policymaking class of 2005. She served on Louisiana’s disAbilities council appointed by Governors Blanco and Jindal for over 9-years.

“…I have had the pleasure of knowing Olantha L. Scott for over 10 years. Olantha is a resilient advocate for citizens with disabilities; she is an inspiring community leader; & a self-made Owner/CEO. She has the drive, & determination to complete tasks.”
